Axé, Endurance, Movement

In the course you’ll learn and practice basic capoeira movements. You’ll use Ginga, Negativa, and Aú to gather and sustain energy while you move.

      Instructor Quiabo explains how to establish a safe, comfortable, and dynamic Capoeira "stance" with the Ginga.

    • Lesson 2: Negativa and Rolê

      Learn and practice Negativa and Rolê, basic Capoeira movements.

    • Lesson 3: Aú

      Learn and practice a basic capoeira cartwheel (Aú).

  • Endurance

    1 Lesson
    • Lesson 1: Ten-Minute Endurance

      Practice 10 minutes of continuous capoeira movement with Ginga, Negativa, Rolê and Aú.

  • Axé

    1 Lesson
    • Lesson 1: Axé with Ginga

      Learn and practice gathering Axé, or energy, while doing basic capoeira movements.
