
What's the Difference Between Pilates and Yoga?
While both are mind-body practices on a mat, Pilates and yoga have different histories, different techniques, and different goals. In my own practice, I’ve used both Pilates and yoga to cross-train for ballet and to keep myself centered and healthy in daily life.

The Essence of Ballet: A Journey of Rediscovery
I’ve discovered that as a ballet dancer, I still have a spark, a grace, an intuition that grows stronger with age. My hips and shoulders creak. My back and ankles inform me immediately when I do too much too soon. And I listen. I center myself, find my breath, find that essence of ballet that has always felt like home to me.
