  • Transition into and out of Aú from Ginga.

  • Execute Aú safely and with control.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Clear floor space where you can safely do cartwheels and handstands

  • Footwear and flooring surface that enables you to move without slipping and without twisting your ankles or knees

  • Introduction

  • Exercise 1: Ginga - Esquiva Lateral

  • Exercise 2: Ginga - Aú

  • Exercise 3: Slow, controlled Aú to move around a partner

NOTES

Make sure that your wrists, shoulders and arms are fully warmed up before practicing Aú.
